Villa Rhaïce is a stand-alone vacation home that can accommodate eight people. In addition to an inspiring interior and luxurious comfort, the villa offers 5,000 non-fiction books, including a travel library and books on art, history, geography and nature.

The vacation home's large living room is suitable for both family gatherings and business meetings, and the vintage yet modern kitchen has all facilities. On the second floor are four cozy bedrooms and two new bathrooms. Children can have fun in a cozy play corner and also outside they can romp around (trampoline, swing, standing pool in summer, ...).

Around and behind the house is Jardin Daniel, an idyllic experiential garden with a lawn, an orchard, statues, garden vases and arbors, aperitif locations, an outdoor daybed and a private fire pit. Between house and garden is a terrace with large outdoor table and sunshade.

In the heart of the Waasland region

Villa Rhaïce is located in Belsele, a borough of Sint-Niklaas. This is central in the Waasland region, close to the E17 and N70 motorways and in the middle of Flanders (30 km from Antwerp, 30 km from Ghent and 50 km from Brussels).

The vacation home is located in a residential neighborhood on the edge of the green area of Waterschoot, between the village center of Belsele (with all its facilities) and the heath of Waasmunster, near the 'slow' walking routes Belsele-Puivelde-Sinaai and within walking distance of train and bus stations.

The park 'Hof van Belsele', the nature reserve Molsbroek, the silence area De Fondatie, recreation domain De Ster, art site Verbeke Foundation, the Waasland Shopping Center and De Casino Concertzaal are nearby. Thermen Katara (sauna complex) is within walking distance of Villa Rhaïce.

History

Built in 1979, Villa Rhaïce was the dream and work of world travelers Daniel Verschoore and Rhaïce Allegaert. After their death in 2020, the estate was renovated thoroughly but with great respect for the past. The memory of Daniel and Rhaïce was a source of inspiration in this process as they carried love and care as well as hospitality and respect for other cultures.
